We're in the middle of a solid hardscaping build at Custom Pools, and we wanted to share where things are at. This is the kind of work that doesn't get a ton of attention until it's done - and then everyone notices it. Functional, clean, and built to last.
Here's what we're working with on this one. A driveway extension to create more usable space, dedicated walkways connecting key areas around the property, and a separate path leading straight to the garbage containers. Not flashy stuff on paper, but incredibly practical when it's all said and done. Every square foot serves a purpose.
The concrete work itself is where we take a lot of pride. Proper expansion joints, consistent texture across every slab, and clean curved transitions where the walkway meets the driveway. Those details matter. They're what separate a pour that holds up for decades from one that starts cracking and shifting in a few years.
This is exactly the kind of hardscaping we do day in and day out. Whether it's a simple walkway or a full driveway extension, the process is the same - prep the base right, pour it right, finish it right. No shortcuts. The goal is always concrete that looks good on day one and still looks good years down the road.
Bike storage access, trash bin access, extra parking room - it's all being handled here with concrete that ties the whole property together. When the landscaping goes in around it, this foundation is going to make everything else look that much better.
