This one is close to the finish line. We've got fresh sod laid out across the yard, the pool cover is in, and the landscaping along the back fence is starting to fill in nicely. It's that stage of a build where you can finally step back and see the whole picture taking shape.
The goal here was straightforward - give this family a backyard they'd actually use. Not just a pool sitting in a dirt lot, but a full space. Grass the kids can run on, clean hardscape around the water, and plantings along the perimeter that frame the whole yard. That's the difference between a pool install and a real outdoor living space.
A big part of what we do with landscaping is making sure everything surrounding a feature like a pool looks intentional. The row of evergreen shrubs lined up along the white vinyl fence gives the yard a finished, polished look even before everything is fully established. That kind of detail matters when you're investing in your property.
Fresh sod is one of those things that changes a yard fast. You go from bare dirt and construction chaos to a clean, green lawn - and suddenly the whole space feels livable. Getting the sod down right, with proper grading and irrigation, is what keeps it looking good long-term instead of patchy and struggling a few months in.
We're proud of how this one is coming together. It's exactly what the homeowner had in mind, and that's what we're always working toward - building something that matches the vision, not just something that checks a box.
